Project Zephyr Foundation, INC was founded by Claytheo and Derhyl Middleton embarked on a remarkable philanthropic journey in 2013, driven by their deep compassion and commitment to making a positive impact in their community. Inspired by the legacies of their late grandmothers, Rether Bell Middleton and Lizzie Lee White, Claytheo and Derhyl founded a scholarship program aimed at supporting deserving student in their pursuit of education.

The scholarships established in honor of Rether Bell Middleton  and Lizzie Lee White symbolize the Middleton's enduring belief in the transformative power of education. These scholarships not only provide financial assistance to deserving students but also serve as a testament to the values and principles instilled in Claytheo and Derhyl by their beloved family members. 

In addition to their scholarship program, Claytheo and Derhyl Middleton have actively contributed to various charitable organizations, demonstrating their commitment to making a difference in multiple areas of need. They have generously donated to and supported organizations such as HEALing Coummunity,Toys for Tots, Autism Speaks, Tabithia House, and St. Jude Children's  research Hospital. Their contributions have helped these organizations in their mission to provide healing, support, and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges.

Furthermore, the Middleton family has shown tremendous generosity during the Christmas season by adopting numerous families, ensuring they have a memorable and joyful holiday celebration. Their support for breast cancer initiatives highlights their dedication to rising awareness and providing aid to those affected by this disease, Additionally, their efforts to feed the homeless exemplify their commitment to addressing the immediate needs of vulnerable individuals in their community.
